Here's my little project that I was working on for the past couple weeks: a cable knit scarf. I made it for mom for her birthday. It's my first cable and it really was much easier than I thought it would be. My MIL showed me a cable stitch briefly when she was here, and then Sally HP ran a cable tutorial for our knitting club and chose this pattern. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the class, but she went over the pattern with me and answered all my questions. I used Stitch 'N Bitch's instructions for how to do the pattern's suggested wet block when I was finished since the edges rolled over like the pattern said they might. It's 50% alpaca wool and 50% Peruvian wool. It definitely took a bit of time, but it was much easier than I thought it would be.

For those of us who didn't get an instruction manual with our babies and for whom parenting hasn't always gone as planned. On a more serious note this blog is about supporting a woman's ability to make her own choices about parenting including the choice, for whatever reason, to bottle feed her babies formula.
Wow. I'm impressed. It's very pretty! Well done!
