What is a blog if not a way to update family and friends about what's going on with you? In that vane, here is an update about the boys' parent teacher conferences. It's sure to be thrilling if you don't actually know us. Right up there with the new Dan Brown novel. Can you catch the sarcasm?
We started out with our older son's (OS) conference and then went to our younger son's (YS) conference. In a nutshell our sons are quickly on their way to discovering the cure for cancer and how to solve world peace. It will happen later this year give or take a few months. In all seriousness, the conferences were great. We are very proud of the boys. Their teachers had lots of nice things to say about them and it was nice to spend some time talking with the teachers because we hear so many nice things about them from the boys. Plus who doesn't like hearing good things about their kids?
We also actually learned something about kindergarten. OS seems to really be heading for a career in the Secret Service. He only shares information about kindergarten on a need to know basis, and he thinks we don't need to know.
A. Elliot's Lesson Learned: Just because you don't hear anything about your child's school experience does not mean he does not go.
Professional Mom of two cats, a dog, an ant farm, and oh yeah...two boys: a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Also found in my house is my husband who is known on this blog as The Big Giraffe.
For those of us who didn't get an instruction manual with our babies and for whom parenting hasn't always gone as planned. On a more serious note this blog is about supporting a woman's ability to make her own choices about parenting including the choice, for whatever reason, to bottle feed her babies formula.
