Catching Crabbiness

I started out today in a good mood. I had a good workout and a friend and her son came over for a good playdate. This afternoon, though I received some emails from crabby people. Then I had a couple of phone conversations about some very crabby people. Before I knew it, I felt like I was going to burst into tears because I was so crabby. I called Suzanne and felt better, but the crabbiness still lingers. It's like this bad flu that is going around: it seems highly contagious and there's only so much you can do to prevent it.

A. Elliot's Lesson Learned: Crabbiness is contagious.

It is VERY contagious. My husband and I pass it to one another all the time.

Oh I hear you, to be sure. And I agree with the PP, my hubby and I pass crabbiness back and forth like it's a common cold.

Someone was insanely mean to me and my son nearly a month ago and it still makes me crabby. I'm trying SO HARD to let it go but it just lingers.

I know how you feel. Tell me the crabby emails though. I'll go be mean right back.

It is so true. It is weird how even after you feel rationally over what ever made you cranky the mood just won't go away.

Somehow my poor parents manage to bring out the crankiest parts of me. Hopefully, I will not yell at them when I talk to them tonight. And your call helped me a lot yesterday. Thanks!

You're absolutely right! Moods can be contagious. I think everyone is crabby because they're tired of winter and frustrated. C'mon Spring, hurry up!

It is. I've started to try to put my "sunny hat" on at most times and steer clear of crabby folks because I just get sick of it.

I know where of you speak ;)

Although my general crabiness was due to hormones surging.

Damn those crabby emailers and others for screwing up your day !

I am sorry to hear that other peoples crabby ways brought you down today. I hate it when that happens. It is with those people I am ultra nice in a very annoying way.

Thanks for stopping by R Family Of 4. Great blog BTW

Spring might be the cure. It's too fucking grey here to maintain any mood other than crabby for long.

Unpleasant e-mail is the worst. I have a Pavlovian e-mail response, and expect something pleasant, so shocks are not welcome.
