I celebrated my blogiversary back in September. I go back and forth between being amazed that I've been blogging for over a year and being amazed that I've only been blogging for only a year. A great post by Cool Zebras about what blogging means to her made me reflect on how I feel about blogging. Blogging for me has been a wonderful experience that I honestly wish I had begun sooner. It's the "me time" I have during the day, or in the wee hours, whether it's reading other people's posts or writing my own posts. I'm putting some PowerPoint slides together about blogging that I will present later on this week. As such, I've been musing about what's it's like to blog. However, that's what I'm going to post about tomorrow night. If it weren't for NoBloPoMo, I just may have skipped posting tonight! I have a presentation to work on!
A. Elliot's Lesson Learned: When you have other things that need to be done, brevity in blogging is the soul of wit.
I definitely wish I would have discovered reading blogs a long time ago. It's such a comforting, reassuring and funny thing when you read someone's blog is has gone through just exactly what you're going through. Nice to know you're in good company.
Professional Mom of two cats, a dog, an ant farm, and oh yeah...two boys: a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Also found in my house is my husband who is known on this blog as The Big Giraffe.
For those of us who didn't get an instruction manual with our babies and for whom parenting hasn't always gone as planned. On a more serious note this blog is about supporting a woman's ability to make her own choices about parenting including the choice, for whatever reason, to bottle feed her babies formula.
I know what you mean about wishing you'd started blogging earlier. I wonder often, "what did I do before blogging?" And then I remember. I was crazy.
Can't wait for the presentation.
