What's Over My Skirt

Despite my concern from last night, you'll all be glad to know that I have a surplus of clean underwear for BlogHer. As I hear the humming of the dryer with the last of my trip laundry, I have to ponder over one of life's more important questions: Am I going to be the dork who's not dressed appropriately? I feel like I should be more stressed out over the packing situation than I am. Other than having to remember to pack my computer cord and my iPod, I think I'm okay. That's not to say that there isn't currently a giant load of laundry that needs to be put away, but that's everyone's clothing not just mine. Now I'm nervous that I've done something wrong. So what's going to be over my skirt at BlogHer? A v-neck t-shirt.

On a side note, does anyone know who I can contact to have a clear, soundproof wall installed in my house just like they have between the swimming pool and lobby of the Y? What a completely amazing invention. You can see your kids, but you can't hear them whine! I'd like to put one in my living room.

Joking aside, my older son (OS) did a fantastic job at his "big boy" swim lessons today. I was so proud of him as I watched him from the lobby.

Hopefully: There is nothing to stress about with packing except stress itself.

Hopefully Not: With packing there are two choices: stress a little bit early and finish early or stress a lot late and get to the airport late.

    I don't know what the dress code is. I'm going very casual, simply because I go to a wedding directly after BlogHer and I feel that's enough formality for one trip.

    At least we'll be comfy together.

    Jeans and CUSS t-shirts are what I'll be wearing. It's hard enough for me to put on real clothes to go to my consulting job. I'll be damned if I get gussied up for something that I usually do in my undies or more formally, pajamas.
