This past few days have been pretty busy. It's the type of busy where you look back and you're not quite sure what exactly you were doing that took up so much time. This evening I was relaxing on the couch and watching TV when I heard my older son (OS) cry for me. After waiting for a minute or two to make sure that he wouldn't fall back asleep on his own (and more importantly that I would have to put my show on pause and go upstairs), I went to check on him. His little cheeks where wet with tears and he told me that he was scared. He looked so little in his big boy bed and my heart went right out to him. I leaned over to give him a hug and a kiss, and I sat down on the bed next to him...in a puddle of pee. After changing my own clothes, the Big Giraffe and I changed his sheets. What a fantastic way for the Big Giraffe to end Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day!
