Today was the last day of my older son (OS's) first year of preschool. I was misty eyed when I woke him up this morning. I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. While I was reflecting on how big he's getting, OS was making his bed. In other words he was taking about 15 minutes to pick his pillow off the floor and whining while I was doing my usual half-hearted attempt to somewhat straighten out the blanket. My daydreaming was shattered when OS began complaining about something under the blanket. I reached in thinking it was a rogue stuffed animal, but instead pulled out a dried out cheese stick! Yeah. OS threw a fit because he wanted to eat the cheese. I (of course) insisted on throwing it out.

OH MY GOSH! We are alot alike.
1.) I've got a kiddo who's now finished with preschool.
2.) He likes to tell me he's hungry (at bedtime, natch.)
3.) I've found one under the bed here and there too!
4.) When found, he still insists upon eating them.
Too funny. Nice to know I'm in such good company. :-)
Cute story.
